We want you to be 100% happy with the items you rent from Butlers. It can be hard to tell if a item is right for you from our website or if you have called into our showroom. When you rent from Butlers we give you 30 days to make sure your choice is right for you. It doesn't matter what the reason, too big, too small or even the wrong colour! Just let us know and choose a different rental product which is right for you.

Freedom to upgrade

Our minimum hire period is only 18 months so you are free to regularly upgrade to the latest technolgy. Can't wait that long for the latest tech?  No problem! If your looking to upgrade and you have had your product for at least 12 months now you can! Simply choose your new product and agree to a new 18 month agreement*.

Unlimited Free Servicing

Unlike some companies, we believe that you shouldn't have to pay extra for servicing. We don't even charge a call out fee - even if your rental product is not faulty. At Butlers Rentals unlimited routine servicing including all parts and labour is included so you have nothing more to pay.  However we do still recommend that you have accidental damage cover on your home contents insurance as damage is not included as part of your free servicing.

Free breakdown and replacement cover

If we are unable to repair your rental item in your home we will leave you with a loan product. If your repair is likely to take a long time to repair we will simply replace it for you with a like-for-like product. It's all part of our rental service.

Will I own the items?

No, with rental the items always remain our property. If you later decide that you want to own your rental products you can ask us for a price to purchase at any time. Any price given will be based on the current market value and will not take into account any rental payments that you have made. If you would prefer to own your items from the beginning then you should consider an alternative form of finance or purchase the items outright.

How do I pay for a rental?

After you first months payment which can be paid by cash or card your regular monthly payments are made monthly by Direct Debit, so you will need a suitable account that you have a regular income paid in to. The first Direct Debit payment will normally be taken a month after you have started your rental. As with all forms of credit, it is important that all payments are made on time as late or missed payments may make getting credit in future more difficult. If you are having difficulty with your payments please let us know as soon as you can.

Butlers offer a great way to get the products you want today and keep up to date with what becomes available tomorrow.  When you have decided that rental is right for you (our KeyFacts information can help you decide), simply answer a few simple questions via our online application form.  After you have applied for rental we simply look at your individual circumstances and offer a rental account to suit your needs.

If you have struggled to get credit in the past we can normally still help.  Payments can be made even more affordable by choosing one of our value range products. These offer the same great service but at a much lower price.

All of our rental accounts include FREE service cover - unlike some other companies we do not charge extra for this essential service.

Choose

Choose the products, which you would like to rent and add them to your basket. We offer a wide range of LED TV's, Home Appliances, ranging from washing machines to fridges and freezers.

Apply

If you are not already a Butlers customer simply fill in the simple on-line application form and leave the rest to us. We will make a few simple checks and get back to you as quickly as possible.

Agree

Once we have accepted your application we will arrange a convenient time to deliver and install your new goods. All of the paperwork will come out with you delivery. So all you need to do is sign the agreement and pay your first months rental. We are so confident that you will be delighted with your choice we will even give you 14 days to change your mind about rental and upto 30 days to change your product.

 

What happens at the end of your rental

Providing your account is up to date, you can upgrade to the latest technology or return your product after only 18 months.

* Early Upgrade after 12 months requires products with rental rate equal or greater to existing rental agreement. New 18 month rental period will apply.
